What is a Vertiport?
A vertiport is a new form of aviation infrastructure that is designed to support electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, or eVTOLs. Vertiport terminals are part of facilities designed to safely accommodate aircraft takeoffs, landings, and charging, while also supporting boarding, deplaning, and other passenger services. Vertiports can be located at airports or in off-airport settings such as dense city centers and urban or suburban communities.
